My car runs fine but when the foot goes down it starts to splutter could this be the maf sensor is there a way to check, I have sourced some new coilpacks but wanted to check this first. For my 95wrx.

 

It could be any number of things.
I'd change the coil packs since you have them,then if you follow this link to scan for codes.It also resets the ecu.
