Hi there im new here, i am trying to find out information regarding the car in the link and need to know if any one has any information on it kind regards.

there is no recepts for the engine rebuild but is does have a ej25 as he send me pictures of the stamp on the block also it has a small rust spot on the drivers wing at the bottom, and maybe im been fussy but the door looks off...

Id be wary without receipts, me personally i only buy motors with full documented history standard or modified. I know that when i do anything to motors i keep every receipt first question you get asked is do you have history. I take it theres no service history either ??

thats my problem the car i really like, BUT its the history that i dont i keep recepts for tax discs oil even filters! how can you not its just common sence to me.

It does look nice but dont jump in there was a guy on here other day got good advice not to buy a motor, he did and was straight on asking for advice as he had problems

yea, thats the reason i came here, i have had two imprezas before the first was a jem and the second one i impulse bought and ended up putting a new engine in it! again a car with no paperwork service history etc

hmm good point would someone like to ask as i have hounded him quite a bit. and really want it to be right as i am thinking of swapping fabia vrs with it and my fabia is mint!

no receipt for engine then walk away or expect to be paying for a rebuild.

A 2.5 motor used enthusiastically will shred a Type-R transmission...

Wouldn't a std. turbo do 280 bhp easily ?

mmm, 350ftlb is def well into box shreading teritory, bet thats why hes selling it, knows he needs to spend alot on the box.

yeah, stn turbo would do 300+, so i bet its be rained in alot to preserve the box as you say

def a walk away job still in my eyes

No, I couldn't get near it, it had a forged motor and managed 184 mph on the way to Oulton Park...
