Does each one have the thick yellow wire going to it? If so, I'd say part of the airbag system.

I don't believe so as i've already removed the airbags and the wires didn't come from them directly but maybe?

First box looks similar to my immobiliser box, the two round barrel things are relays, think you'll need to keep these.
