Default Tyre pressure on a Scoob?

Hi all
Can someone tell me whats the best tyre pressure for normal driving? My tyres are 225/45/17 STI wheels on a bugeye. the factory door plate advises mid twenties but they look flat and I took someones advice to put in 36 all round but now it don't feel right ?
What's everyone running? So I can get an average

1.9 and 2.3 bar (rear/front) that equates to around 28psi rear and 33pis front (factory settings)
