Default Help.... Turbo/boost cuttin out

Hi all, new to site n could really do with some help

I've just bought a 94 import classic with a few mods, td05 turbo, turbo timer, automatic boost controller , air flow control meter ,

The fella I bought it from steam Cleaned engine before I bought it n now check engine light is on, I've code read n got 2 long pulses n 2 short which I believe is knock sensor... I've tried resetting it but no luck

The car seems to hold back a bit n especially if in 3, r or 5th gear if I fill
Throttle it hits a wall n turbo cuts out ..?? It's fine if I slowly accellerate up but notfull throttle ... Any ideas ???

Supposedly has 280 bhp approx but seems more like 160 bhp :-(

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Remove/disconnect the air flow control meter and automatic boost controller (if possible) and see what the car is like running standard.

don't know sorry it depends how they've been fitted.

If you can switch them off that would be a good start tbh,but I think your best bet is to find a good local subaru specialist to see if they can help.

Who made the air flow control meter and auto boost controller as you could try to google them to see if the fitting instructions are on the web.
