Default apexi gauges

since i had my type r the apexi gauges don t light up just the red needle or is this normal ? if not what to look at 1st ? also got controller for the gauges 2 but don t have a clue how it works any help be great cheers

I would imagine that a feed from the switch on the stalks would be needed to tell them to turn on the backlighting when it is dark as it wouldnt be needed during the day, much the same as a radio headunit.

I was under the impression that the controller did most of the cleve stuff with these gauges?

im not sure how the controller works so havent even pressed a button lol anyone have any idea?

ok iv seen on youtube that they do def light up so what do i check first only my needle lighting up ?

The controller needs to be wired into the lights, so when you put the side lights on they light up, got a set fitted to my old car and will be fitting them to my new one.

ok so see where all the wires from the controller go see if any going to lights ect cheers
