Default Engine management light on

Hey all

Driving stead on way home tonight and my engine check light come on. Come to a roundabout then it went off. Then come on again then stayed
. Just plug the fault code plugs in and says fault 24 . Any ideas to fix or sort ? Cheers

The codes usually start with a po then a number but if cruising a common one is cat below threshold especially if you have a 2nd decat.

I have just put a 3" straight through cobra sport turbo back decat exhaust on my 92 import and it is doing the same thing i was just about to start a thread with the same question. so Daz if it is the same problem do you have any idea how i stop it from happening?

But it says idle control sensor . Aint it worth cleaning and doing ecu reset?

If that's what it refers to then yes remove it and give it a clean, just when I had a cel whilst cruising on motorway with my sportcat and 2nd decat it read as cat efficiency below threshold but after a reset it never came back again

MY92 car won't have ODB II port so won't use P0xxx codes........ look on Jolly greens site for help with your MY year car and CEL's
