Default Terminal 2001 WRX!!!

got a knock / rattle on the engine. hold it at 2.5k revs and then rev slightly and it rattles. my experience is telling me the big ends have died!

ive got some money to sort it but not much. ive got circa £2k to make it work and improve it if i can.

i can do the engine swap with my brother so no bother on fitting costs but im guessing it will be cheaper to get a decent engine instead of rebuilding this one. its done 101k miles and had no history apart from clutch and cambelt change.

i intend to do the swap over a weekend the weekend after next.

any ideas guys?

thanks

If your turbo isnt upgraded, I have a TD04 that will replace your turbo, for cheap. PM me if you are interested.

That Eclipse deal looks fantastic, as Ive said before. Well worth a second look.

We have plenty of people traveling here from all over. As were in Sunderland city centre we are just 5 mins walk from the train station, so it's easy for you to get back home. Or we can get your car picked up for around £150, or you can take your engine out and send it to us for £75.

As for cranks, we've got a few perfect second hand ones here that will be as good as a new one.

Oh, and if you don't sort out a deal on that TD04 we've got a few kicking about too!
