Got a VF34 at my work from are old race car. Was only used for a few for about a year. I have a 97 uk turbo impreza (engine from a import) and was thinking about fiting it. Cant make my mind up weather to just leave it how it is. subarus are a bit new to me was looking at old threads some say you cant fit them without bigger injects, fuel pumps and a remap once fitted? would it be ok to fit for now without this? what cc injectors if so? Its my everday car whats a reliable power figure?

 

I'd say the old threads were right dibble. Your ecu isnt remappable so to fit the turbo, injectors pumps etc would need an aftermarket ecu such as simtek to allow remapping so that it wasnt running bad or dangerous.
