Is there a PPP kit available for 2007 cars now then, regardless of country of origin? I didn't think one was available yet.

Oh yes you can get one but it may void the warranty still trying to find out what the score is, may just go with it anyway..

If on an EU car, PPP will void the warranty. If you're still gonna go for it, why not take one of the other tuners packages and save some money?

Just spoke to Welllane turbo centre today they say that if its an import from Malta/Cyprus the PPP package won't work so you will have to get it done by another tuning company due to the fact that the ECU is different it is allegedly designed to run on 101octane fuel so a remap is the only way they don't do it themselves but there are companies out there that do and like somebody else said it will save a ton of cash but still void the warranty.. (Food For thought!!)

Regards Paul Leeds (Hope this helps a few of you guys)

However if this is utter rubbish please let me know but the guys @wellane are pretty knowledgeable.

zaxs1973

All EU cars have the same ECU and std WRX is definately not mapped to work on 101 octane fuel exclusively. We have sold plenty of PPP into Europe and I guess a good number in the UK onto cars sourced from outside Europe.

Remember that the way we develop the packages is such that we wouldn't expect any increase in warranty issues, irrespective of who's actually covering the warranty.

Would the collective advice still be to not go down the PPP route (which will invalidate my WRX Cyprus import warranty) even though it is now available at less than £1000?
