Hi Tommy
you are never see big increase or noticeable increase from Lightweight Pulleys.

And you are don't need remap just for this..

they reduce unsprung weight not increase power so the engine should rev easier same principle as light weight fly wheel

Close not unsprung weight that is things close to your wheels.

It is rotational mass so reduces rotational inertia. It will increase the horse power available to drive the wheels but won't be a huge amount and as said will allow the engine to change it's revs easier as it is not having to accelerate the mass of the origional pulley

I had lightweight pulleys put on after the crank pulley broke, my car is standard, but Im certain the car felt a little faster, but not by a great deal.

no what he was saying is the engine will produce the same power but the power not being used to drive the extra weight of the pulley will be availible to drive the wheels also the easier the engine revs the quicker the turbo will spool

(you may see power increase on a dyno as it measures wheel horse power)

but as jura said most people get them because they look good you would see better results if mated with a light weight fly wheel but beware go too light and you may get stalling issues when on idle as the centrefugal force helps the engine tick over
