Question Disable a CEL code on an ECUTek mapped ECU?

Anyone know if you can disable the P0546 CEL code using ecuEdit or RomRaider on an ECU that's been flashed with ECUTek?
Since switching to a decat STI up pipe on my 01 WRX, I've had this code come up after cruising on the motorway and I know it's the ECU moaning that the sensor isn't there anymore and that it's not receiving proper data from it.
If I clear it, the CEL comes back in similar situations.

From what I understand, ECUTek doesn't allow you to do this, but the CEL's driving me nuts and I'd rather disable the code rather than taping a resistor into the sensor female plug.
I don't want to kill the existing ECUTek map, I just want to disable this particular code.

Can anyone help?

Once you've had an ECUTek map the ROM is locked so unfortunately your only options are to use a resister or get your mapper to disable the CEL.

Which on ECUTek, at this moment in time you unfortunately can't. Bugger lol.

You should probably get the map tweaked after decatting the uppipe so can be disabled then

I did mate - ECUTek can't disable it. Simon's talking to them about whether they've put this function in yet.

am amazed by that as in ecuedit and romraider is easy to disable cel, I always thought ecutek was at least as useable as open source, but never had any experience with it so just presumed it could be done. resistor fix it is then, cheapest option is just get one from maplins and fit it yourself, I did similar with the airbag lights on my wrx.

Gary, I was led to understand this one was for the O2 sensors rather than the EGT CEL fix? Someone on another forum said they'd bought it and it hadn't worked.

Nothing wrong persay mate, I'd just prefer to have it mapped out rather than having to shove a resistor in the female socket for the sensor - just a cleaner solution without bits hanging out (oooer missus!).
By the sounds of it I will probably have to do this anyway if ECUTek don't allow it, and I can't disable the codes manually using RomRaider or ECUEdit because the ECU is locked by the ECUTek map!

Yeah mate, I did the same with the seat airbag lights on mine - I was just hoping I might be able to turn this one off in a slightly cleaner way.
I need to go back to Maplins - muppets gave me a 22 Ohm resistor instead of a 2.2k one

JGM did say that he asked ECUTek for this a while back but they were putting a lot of effort into a new product that they were launching; he's asking again now to see what they might be able to do.
I do find it very surprising that something so easy to do in open source can't be done in ECUTek. Curses!!
