VF34 or 35 is a physical straight swap and will give you plenty of midrange grunt once remapped. With STI pinks, decatted up pipe, decatted 2.5" or 3" system, upgraded fuel pump you should see a reliable 310bhp ish with standard intercooler. (Thats assuming your car is a Newage UK WRX or late classic ) Changing to a more efficient intercooler with undertray for the scoop should see a few more bhp.

i had a vf35 fitted to my old wagon and it is a big improvement on the tiny td04l.
car produced 315/320.
the vf35s do come up cheaper than the 34 aswell, but if funds were not an issue, i would have gone for a 34.

If thats what your after then you wont beat andy forrest hybrid td04, spools up quicker than most if not all of the vf range and with a few supporting mods can deliver 320 bhp checkout link below.

Perhaps a front entry converted TD05? Easy to come by, little work to convert and take abuse by the dozen. Will take you to a maximum of approx 340bhp, but is a cheaper alternative to a VF which tend to be a little more fragile.

With the FMIC and a different turbo you should see 330+ easily.

vf34 ported headers=fantastic road car.

vf28 seems to get great results may be worth a thought

You may not need to change a turbo but money needs to be spent, I haad an RA gearbox on my car and with a td04 turbo it was soo much fun. Fit a hybrid td04 and an RA gearbox and it will have superb accelleration and probably around 320bhp

or even a TD05 18G, can be had easily from people such as Harvey, and are quite cheap too.

Should see you a little over 350+bhp

It won't be cheap when it kills his gearbox?

If its in your budget a vf34 is your best option for 300-350 power range mate.

It's sold by Scooby Clinic and is basically a fully R&D'd, fettled TD05 16g based jobbie. The main USP being it has a quicker spooling 33% lighter compressor wheel. (I think it also might be roller, rather than sleeve bearing too).

The regular OEM TD05H 16g isn't exactly laggy as such, so the SC36 Billet should be a beast, I reckon. Many a happy owner on here with 'em.

Is capable of 340-360+ mapped on V-Power.
