Default Starting issues

most of the time my wrx starts fine but recently every now and again when trying to start its as if it has a really low battery and struggles to start, a couple of times rather than this it has just made a single clicking sound as i have turned the key but take it out and back in again and it starts fine, had the battery tested yesterday and its fine, any ideas? starter motor or alternator maybe? anything else i should look at?
cheers
neill.

It sounds like the starter motor not engaging mate, sometimes the solenoid doesn't throw the gear out to turn the flywheel over and you just a click from the solenoid.

check the big positive lead on to your starter. mine was turning over slowly sometimes, but not all the time. turns out it was that lead. looked like it was bolted on fine, but took it off, cleaned it, bolted it back on to the terminal n never had the problem again. think the weather gets to it
