Default ESL - How Many Fuel Maps?

Just wondering how many maps can be put on the ESL Daughterboard, as I'm thinking about running Tesco 99 and 99 with 15% methanol, that's only if two fuel maps can be done on the ESL.

Thought so, just wanted to double check... Just looked like a switch could be added to the ESL on the motherboard

you can switch between standard map on the ecu and the new esl one easy enough, so depends on how modded the car is yes

It would be a replacement different board, not the normal one.

You have to go aftermarket and expensive for multiple maps so your a bit stuffed really (unless you own a spec c that is )

Not quite true.... ESL are developing a multi map daughterboard, which is supposed to be coming out soon... can keep up to dates on their projects via their Facebook Page:

Hmmm interesting, the problem is the memory so unless they disable the memory on the original board and have it all on the daughter board it wont have 2 full map capabilities (the reason why they cant have 2 maps in the first place on the standard ecu is lack of memory with the exception of the spec c which has double the memory capacity )

I believed that every JDM newage STi model had the same memory capacity (with the possible exception of the Bugeye), hence why they can all run Megarom and proper twin maps.

Spec C's have double due to grp n though JDM's have better ecu's anyway

Tony
Is that the infamous grp N that has been purloined by the open source community?

And what does the grp N rom do that the standard JDM rom cannot?
