Hey guys, where is the best place to get a long 5th gear for my Type R 5 speed?

Think a uk 5th

 

I was thinkin about doin this to my v1 sti but I was wonderin if it would need mapping after? How much roughly does it cost merv including fitting?

 

I have no idea mate, if I can source a 5th gear then I'll be able to get it fitted

A lot of people have used UK 5th but just need to know where to get one from! It shouldnt need mapping afterwards!

Merv, try Advanced Automotive in Bristol - I know that they specialise in engine components but they should be able to help.

Sorry forgot to add they are very helpful and should be able to advise who can help if they can't.
