Default A fuuny feel, strange idle

ok just had a strange moment,

went to sho car is still quite warm from school run and bits n bobs from today, got 100yrds up road and at island she had very low feeling revs, was 750+ on the avc-r but looked low on the counter, as if a vey very tiny misfire/lumpy, driving up road in 2nd seemed hessitent then after 2500 rpm was fine boost ok but bk home seemed again the same, the other week i had irractik idle and even though was nice and warm it increased in rpm to 2k and the bounced to 1500 and bk to 2k until the cel light came on, on test it said

24 Idle Control System Malfunction
24 ISC Valve (Stick)

turned engine off, but when started it up again all was fine, is this part to the right front of my tmic and could it be the bearing under the magnet sticking or the valve inside...

cheers for any idea's

car is a 96 wrx

thanks

just popped the electromagnet of via the 2 small screws, and it was spotless and very free to turn, although this doesnot discount a fault doe they just have a contoled power supply to make to valve open and close i am just wondering if there is no power there it maybe moving of it'sown accord under engine vibration causeing resrticed air flow and a change in magnetic resitence thus changing the signal to the ecu saying to increase rpm .............
