Default Best brake pads for 280bhp classic?

Always go for standard or ebc green stuff. What would suit me, 280bhp classic "spirited" country roads driving?

I rate these higher than both the DS2500's and Performance friction for fast road use

The new EBC Bluestuff NDX are currently the best all round fast road and track pads available. You can read about them here

That might be overkill for your application though and these might be a better option which are also very popular.

Have you already got Subaru 4 Pot Calipers fitted?

i have always stuck with standard as they work well from cold, i had some red stuff in when i had the car and for the first 4 mile or so they were a nightmare till they warmed up

Mmmm lots of opinions on these as expected.
Yeah i have 4 pots on front as it's a uk my99. Still ***** though. The godspeed brakes sound good. But im not spunking £148 on a set of front pads!. I like ebc but they dont seem to last that long. Blue stuff is maybe a bit hardcore for what i need. Ill see what i can pick up at week end. Thanks to all for advice appreciated.

If you're not looking at spending the much and don't need something that hardcore, these will be ideal for normal to fast road use, cheap too:
