They should go in place of the OE shrouds fella. Looks like they'll screw in 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom like the OE setup.
Do the blue tabs click in to create anchor points? The frame looks similar size to an OE fan plus shroud anyway...

That's what it looks like to me too.
Use new stainless bolts.
If the old bolts shear off, they CAN be removed. I did mine by first removing the top and bottom metal brackets off the radiator, soaked the sheared off bolts inside and out with WD40, then clamped mole grips onto the thread that protruded INSIDE, and turned it out INWARDS, avoiding the worst of the rusted area which is on the inside.
If you have a new rad, it should have new brackets too.

Hi cheers for the answers yeah the blue tabs fit in any of the anchor points on the fan but when I brought them I assumed they would fit as you say to the oe holes but they turned out to be not quite as big as I thought as you can see
But I have found out how to fit: the zip tie things actually go through the rad fins but my next question is do you think they would be sufficient at cooling the car as they are smaller than the originals??

Difficult one
on one side id rather a fan spins faster (do these) than the oe ones but then again its better to have a slower fan (not too slow obviously) but covering more of a surface area.

Cubic Feet per Minute i think, how much air they create/Move etc
Yes the OE fans dont span the whole rad,but that shroud acts like a duct so all the rad gets air etc
anyone know the CFM of the OE FANS ?

But on this, you'll have two fans spinning at the same time, where as OE you only have one fan spin when the cars hot and another fan spin when the AC is on.
Which will mean you have 2x more cooling power now then before

On my WRX, one fan (on the drivers side) spins when the car is hot, then if i turn the AC on, the other fan (passenger side) starts to spin? Cant say ive noticed them both spin with the AC turned off

Yeah only one fan with no aircon and two with but I've only ever looked at which ones were spinning earlier (originals are still attached) and they both were spinning when the aircon was on

weird, both mine spin without a/c on when engine gets hot,not that im complaining LOL
Then,if engine isnt warm yet i have the a/c on,both spin again, both have independant plugs, not joined together etc
