at what point to go front mount???

at what point to go front mount???
guys i have a 1996 prefacelift sti 555 import running around the 280 mark
i wanted to keep the tmic purley to try and keep it oem looking and not have to cut the front bumper but myaim is a nice 300bhp
the car is used for fast road and will venture on a couple of handling days each year
will i have to drop the whole oem thing and fit a front mount or will the front mount be okay for me turbo will have a blanket and all exhaust will be wrapped
and have changed diffuser for a motorsport item ??
