Default Halfords Battery

My battery is struggling in the cold weather now, so I want to get a new one.

Obviously being Christmas in a few days mail order won't work too well. I've got a Halfords trade card, so was going to get one from there.....which is the best they do for my car? Any make/model/part number?

My car is a MY03 STi UK.

Cheers

HCB005 is the Halfords own HD Calcium battery, comes with a 4-year warranty.

£89.99 or £59.99 with a trade card, got one yesterday for a mate and I've had one for 2 or 3 years and it's not missed a beat

Halfords don't make batteries, the hcb005 is made by Yuasa and badged Halfords.
Yuasa are very very good.

I paid £89 for a battery from Halfords some years ago which kept going flat after a few months of owning. Like a git i threw away the receipt so they then declined a replacement even though they knew i brought it from there. I then brought a heavy duty battery from somewhere else which is still in the car.

Aye we cant do anything with it unless you have a receipt to prove when you have purchased it... it just gets sent straight back to us if no receipt is provided when we send it back to Yuasa for diagnostics / recycle.

Had the Halfords one in my car for about a year. Starts first time even in the minus 5 or 6 degree conditions. Factory fitted batteries are pants.
