Can some 1 tell me which bottom end this is? ie: closed deck/open deck?
its from a 1995 legacy twin turbo.

the picture shows the number stamped on the drivers side front of the block.
there is the same symbol on the rear of the block (only its passenger side), then there is 943757 stamped on the bell housing of the box? no other numbers i can find?

The ONLY way of knowing, outwardly, a CDB from an ODB, is that the CDB has cast cross-hatching around the oil filter housing. This is the only thing that's outwardly unique to a CDB, compared to an ODB...
