Default Down on Power MY99

Had my MY99 Remapped few weeks back with simtek was awesome, but for a few days now its down on power, noticed a fumey/petrol smell while driving, worried that when i fitted the VF29 Turbo i forgot to put one of the brackets that hold it to the block and may have damaged the uppipe, is this likely, checked injectors and no leaks no water in oil idles very smooth, since getting it mapped MPG has increased

Sorry not to sure what you mean ,as when you fitted your turbo to your car,i am presuming you bolted it on to uppipe with 3 x 14 mm bolts ,then bolted your cat/decat on to the exhaust housing with 3 studs and 2 nuts & bolts .

Not really, cooler temps mean cooler air into turbo & intercooler,so should be no drop in power ,if anything a slight increase should be noticed,
