Default cold starting not good

ive just notice the last week my car on cold start with a sim tec is reving the normal way they do on cold start then cutting out aklomost and coming back but this morning it would not start sound like it was flooded or missing after about ten minutes i finaily got it started would this be the fuel pump or mopre likey a sensor i have replaced the water senors under the starter motor the car is going in tomorrow but just wanted some thoughts cheers all

also last night i notice number 1and 2 coild leads was a touch loose on the spark plugs i push them back on and it was fine last night this morning they were still on tights as i check but i took a long time to start at first it cut out then it sound like it was only firing on two then it finail fire up and drover home fine i have just started it after 6 hours and its fine now really wierd

Any starting issues when she's warm or is it just from really cold??

just from cold dude but like i said this morning it took about ten minutes of trying really starngre but it been a bit on and off the last week and a half just seems to be getting worse

Yeah, very seldom these things make themselves better. I would be looking towards the CTS (coolant temp sender). I'm sure you'll find out tomorrow.

where is that located dude as i change the water temp sensor which is under the starter motor is this somthing else the sender

CTS is screwed into bulkhead side of the coolant crossover pipe, down on top of the engine block. It's sort of sited between the turbo and IC but low down. It's the largest of the two sensors in that location. (The other, similar looking, but smaller one right next to it, is the sender for the binnacle's temp. gauge, I think.)

right the problem was the autobahnn tubro inlet pipe and not the water temp sensor and liek i said i change that a month ago the tmep sender woudl nto afect the ecu as that is not got nothing to do with the cold sart but it seems that all my problems were down to this autobann inlet pipe "bag of ****e" i spent three hours yesturday changing back to a standard one which i though was a good time seen as i have never done any thing like this before and dam there is alot to take of to get to this pipe subaru really need to think about making things a bit more easy to get to
