Hey buddy, i had this problem, i was told it was the actuator and so i bought a forge one. DON'T it is crap. they look nice but not great quality. get a proper Subaru one.

it also might be worth getting your turbo checked cos mine won't produce more than 1bar aswell.

give DS Automotives a call on 01296420000. they are based in Aylesbury and Dave (the DS in the name) really know his ****. :^)

Does that mean, you know nothing, or that the car is 'totally' standard apart from the back box??

Try this.

I'm in Maidenhead, and can take a look at it, if you like.

Most likely to be a Boost Solenoid or Turbo Actuator problem

Dirtystu, one question that nobody else seems to have asked yet: Is your Check Engine light on, or have you seen it come on? If it is (or has), connect the black plugs and find out/tell us what error codes are stored. If it hasn't, Fiestaboy's comments as above the likely way forward.
