hi all, my 2001 bug eye gx non turbo is going to need a back box soon, does anybody know if the turbo back box will fit my car ?
If so what year of turbo modelr will fit ?
If not where can i buy a cheap new standard back box for my car ?
Any help will be great guys.

I'm not sure,but if you buy from classic will fit,but one hanger must be rewelded.
But other will fit,like this

will have to get a garage to weld.
do you know where i can get a standard exhaust for my car apart from subaru ?
i will weigh up the pros and cons and cost of each exhaust.

Hi matey any Impreza exhaust will fit on non turbo,apart from from downpipe.
For standard exhaust try eBay or Camskill have for 89£(http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.p...07p30631&rs=gb.)
For aftermarket(try here SN for sale section,ebay)prices are vary from 150£(with decat centre pipe)to 350£(Miltek one)

why does the camskill exhaust say fits models upto 1998 if they fit all imprezas ? or am i missing something as usual ! ha

Hi matey these are original for 1998,but will fit on your bugeye without problem.
I have Nur Spec from Classic which fit perfectly....

I always thought a Turbo's back box needs the mounting flange rewelded at a different angle to make it fit.

any clarification anyone please ?
another thread i read on here on the same subject for a 2001 gx is that i would need an adapter exhaust pipe that connects between my standard exhaust middle section and the turbo back box.

thanks, i have joined and asked on there but it seems more geared towards the classic impreza rather than bug eye but definately worth a try.
