Its just a 2.2 Ohm resistor. Get one from an electronics shop or from somebody that works with circuit boards and that type of **** and push either end of the resistor into each of the two pin holes on the EGT sensor plug.
Remember to put it in the side of the plug attached to the wiring loom to enable your ecu foolling powers.

To the OP........The Newage ECU is not always fooled by a "resistor fix" for the missing cats........it's a bit clever as it expects a fluctuating signal. The EGT resistor fix can work and is 2.2 Kohm IIRC.

Which CEL do you want to eliminate ??

Hi matey you are need really remap(open source for 350£),for this, because without remap you don't get good result and may damage your engine.
Personally i recommend wait until you have money on remap

remap would make full benefit of the exhaust and the cels would be turned off in the mapping, P0420 for cat below threshhold and P0544 or P0545 to disable the up pipe sensor I think, but the mapper will know what to do. For how much you would gain a sportscat downpipe would have been easier come MOT time

would it be safe to fit the 2.5"decat system without the remap?have got the kit to reset the ecu so not worried about the cel for the cat removal.wasnt sure about the up pipe, will do the rest of the mods when i am ready to see paul at zen.just want to make sure i wont do any damage fitting the exhaust only.
