it was'nt too laggy

1st 2nd and 3rd grear spool up was 3900rpm with full boost 1.8bar at 4100rpm 4th 5th and 6th spool by 3500rpm with full boost 1.8bar at 3600rpm which held to the red line in all gears

the lag was reduced from the origional set up by fitting one of harvey's up pipe's which made a massive difference to the set up and something i would reccomend

we did manage to reduce the lag a little further at a later date by adding a 10% meth map

Oops, yes you're right. Oh well, you'll just have to wait for someone to get it done and post up a graph. If you read on, it looks like Enginetuner might be sorting a 2.1 with an SC46 soon...........

compared to a newage with vvt heads then yes you could say that

i think you will find on a classic with v4sti heads then it's not so bad

i have the turbo fitted to my newage with vvt heads now so am interested to see what it does when mapped next week

isnt lag is what you get between gearchanges and spool is when the turbo starts to work

yeah thats what i thought. lag is the time the car takes to react to the throttle being pressed and spool up time is how long it takes the turbo to come on boost

I quite liked the old sc46 but this billet one with its 10cm exhaust housing doesn't seem to spool as well the old one.
