Default Converting Manual DCCD To Automatic

I have a MY04 Spec C Motorsport and it has manual DCCD and I'm curious to know if it can be converted to automatic.

If it can be done what is required ie donor parts from another car or an aftermarket solution like an Neetronics (I think that's the make) ECU?

Not really desperate for auto DCCD but if it's a fairly easy conversion then I'll look into getting it done.

Thanks for the response.

I would prefer to if possible use donor parts and keep everything OEM so does anyone know if this can be easily done? I assuming it would require yaw sensors, an auto DCCD ECU, a wiring loom plus an auto/manual switch as well.

The aftermarket option though does look very good having read the link.

Why would I be mad to convert from manual to automatic control?

There's nothing wring with manual control I just wanted to know if it's feasible.

The auto control is just that ie no need to mess about with the control wheel on the fly and probably a lot quicker than manual control.

I'm looking to do the same to my STI V3 for sprinting and will get the DCCD pro unit as a mate has fitted it and said it was easy to install and works a treat.

Sorry - I thought you were referring to the gearbox.
Silly me.

As your local to me I'd be interested to see it in action and to see how it has been fitted.

No problem, I do know someone with a WRX NB-R automatic (only 100 ever made) and it's quite rapid.
