3 Port Boost Solenoid Plumbing
Hi there, hope someone can help i have 1998 WRX STi,code GC8E4ED, looking at some images on web my Boost Solenoid pipes seem connected wrong way round, ie top hose goes to Wastegate, mid hose goes to Turbo outlet, can anyone confirm this is correct? or if not any idea why they are connected up this way, boost does seem low but no CEL,s etc,any help/advice appreciated,Thanks

Thats the wrong diagram for your car, the pipe connection descriptions are correct but there is no restrictor in the bottom hose, the pic pointed to is of a MY93 to 96 vehicle. The STi 4 solenoid is plumbed to the same points but has a 1.5mm restrictor installed in the top hose adjacent to the solenoid.
