Depends on what you want out the car plus the budget you have in mind.

A forged 2.0 or 2.1 for a nice revvy setup. The 2.5 will be a fun road car with lots of midrange power.

There's many ways to go about reaching 350hp & it shouldnt be that expensive to do.

if you go for the 2.5, add 3k to the tot
for a 6 speeder, the torque will kill the 5 speed box.

i spent just over 2k, sti v7 block sti v4 heads. i have 341.4bhp, and 338lbft torque.
i was going to get the 2.5 block, had the cash, and a seller to hand.

the sti v7 block was the same price, just couldnt be doing with the messing around with dvla changing the log over

i put the sti v7 block in my uk 95 classic.
fitted with a set of sti heads, makes a good build mate.
the blocks are good form 425 with no issues, the sti v4 heads are good for 500bhp

+ there still a 2.0
