Default fuel smel

since i put full tank in my car it stinks of fuel really bad inside any 1 else had this prob since iv had my walbro in to any ideeas cheers rob

Have you checked the fuel filler pipe isnt leaking ive just changed mine

have you checked the pipes that go to the top of the fuel tank coz if you have fitted a fuel pump you could of split a pipe or 1 of the pipes is loose

yea i will check just wierd it since i filled up gonna check thst mate.would it smell that bad with the plate on even

just drove it again its when u boost but only just starte doing it any ideas

i would check tho's pipes just to cancel that out i remember when i fitted a new fuel pump on the first scoob i had i split a pipe an didnt see it an i could smell fuel really bad the other thing you could check is the seal round the lid on the tank that could coz you to get a bad fuel smell in the car hope you get it sorted coz even tho fuel smells nice when your filling up your car it smells awful when it lingers in your car

sorted it duncun (race dynamix) told me that seal around lid on them can be pain cheers for help u lot

I assume he means that large oval rubber gasket for the fuel pump housing's metal lid under the rear seat...?
