Default Recommend me an up pipe

I have a 95 wrx which has developed a blow from the up pipe,
Car hasn't got Any mods apart from decat system.
Should I go for an after Market one or a genuine one and would there be any benifit from an after Market on?
Thanks.

just go for a standard up pipe mate they are just as good coz there isnt any restrictions at all in the up-pipe on a classic but make sure when you are fitting it you fit all the brackets from the engine to the up pipe because i made the mistake of leaving a bracket off when i fitted a turbo once an within a few weeks the top of the up pipe snapped an it started to blow

as above get a good second hand one or a Harvey special up-pipe, don't fit a bling bling large bore one off of ebay as they are crap.

As far as up pipes go Harveys are second to none, less lag and more torque mid range, this was on a mildly modified car though, I'm not sure how it would perform on a standard car.
