Removing the Newage Air Vent
I want to remove the ball type airvent on the drivers side to fit a gauge, does anyone have any idea how to get it out?
I've removed the outher ring but seem to be stuck.
Help please.

it screws in from the back, 3 screws
depending which side you may be able to un-screw it without popping out the dash

no you need to remove the air flow pipe that is blocking them and do it all by feel if you want to leave it in place.

I took it off my dump valve pipe and run the pipe along the A/C pipes on the IC and through the bulkhead.

A 60mm gauge would have worked so much better !
Good effort though. I'm planning to fit a gauge of somesort in there at some stage!

you can get spacers to go around the 52mm to make it 60mm
any diy store should have some black rings or the like

eggy if you have ANY spare, unused nipples on IM, then use one.
If not, as said, best to Tee into the line from IM to DV...
