Hello I have the problem and I need a good answer.
I have 2 subaru impreza engines 1 of tham is non turbo engine code is EJ20 ENW other 1 is turbo WRX engine code is EJ20 BUG naw i need to know is it possible if I take heads of the WRX, cen I put tham on non turbo block ? they look very similar.

Briefly whether these two blocks the same ?
I know the Cranks are the same....

 

no mate the compression is different on turbo/nonturbo,the head bowl and or dish in the piston would be different,you can run non turbo's at very low boost ie 0.4/6 bar max without problems but not 0.9/1.0 bar like on scooby turbo,s

yes i knw its too muck but i need dino first but i have low compresion so i need to fix it. Its vf 22 ball bering turbo

 

if you,ve been runninig 2 bar im not suprised its got low compression its probably fried the piston rings mate

 

I knw u see i have non turbo 20 engine fuly rebuilded engine so i thot i can use it for WRX
