Default ECUTEK remap?

Does anyone have any experience with an ECUTEK remap on a 2.5 Hawkeye? I,m looking for a slight power and torque increase but mainly an improvement in fuel economy. I,m averaging about 22mpg day to day with mixed driving. Is this normal? Any advice welcome! PS, .WRX not STI

I had my Hawkeye STi remapped by JGM. As above, which do you have STi or WRX?

I had my hawk WRX done!! With a few subtle mods you can have a fantastic road going car with STI PPP performance!!

Full miltek decat
Green panel filter
Walbro fuel pump
Ecutek remap (JGM)

Results 285bhp but a whopping 350lbs/ft torque.

To be honest the fuel economy is about the same but because I have a lot more power now i tend to use it more so worse fuel economy!!

If you are worrying about fuel economy tho its maybe not the right car for you!! I get 22mpg from the Subaru but 60mpg in my Hyundai i10

Thanks for the replies. Sorry, forgot to mention it is a WRX, not an STI.

Yeah fuel economy on a scoob isn't to great, but if your worried don't be, thats about right.
Could always get a different car with better fuel.

I'm sure you will be able to get a slightly better mpg when remapped if your not after massive power. My Hawk STI went from 280 bhp to 333bhp and I don't seem to use any more fuel than before, obviously when booting it you will
