Default SHE`S ALIVE but..

Is this a split pipe or the thrust bearing making this noise, or something else???

flywheel catching shield under gearbox, a protection plate. bends up when fitting engine and touches. makes hell of a noise. iv done it twice now

as above i had the same so took it off and filed it under "b"

Lol mine was a tad bent lol, so I can bin it??
If so it`s going to the scrap lol.

wudnt recommend binning it as its to protect flywheel. and u wud need to lift engine a bit to take it off, i used a screw driver and pry bar so it wasnt touchin flywheel. took me a while tho, mine was bend bad lol

Will see what I can do tomorrow, even if its making a cover to cover the hole. My previous cars have had gaps by the bottom of the flywheel without issues, plus with the fly being so high up shouldnt see any issues really.

mine has been off for 5 years and never had a problem with it.
