What power are you aiming for? How important is low lag for you? What cams do you have?
All important factors in deciding what housing to go for.

i think with standard cams you're going to be dissapointed power wise with the 0.63 housing, and laggy without the proper power with the 0.82 housing. That said i would say you'll have a better driving car with the 0.63 housing and expect to make around 450hp. The larger housing combined with cams will probably see around 500hp on v-power and what you lose at the bottom end in increased lag you will more than gain at the top in useable power.

Simply put:
If you really really want a piece of paper with over 500hp and you want to do it with just v-power and no additive, use the 0.82 housing, otherwise go with the 0.63 housing.
Remember that you can buy a housing seperately later on.
In my experience, sti5/6 cams will go to about 470hp with 3076r/0.63 housing on v-power, but it does depend on a lot of other things, like headers, intercooler, inlet manifold, head porting, cam timing (even the slop on the cam pulley dowels), compression ratio and lets not forget fuel.

So realy it just depends on what my goal is and if i have to reach 500.
Many thanks
