Default New Tyres - Which ones???

I need to replace my hawk WRX tyres!! Was just gonna change them for the ones that came on it when new ie Bridgestone Potenza?? Is there anything better or they good enough? The size is 215 45 17!! Also is it worth changing to say a 225 45 17

Thanks

I too have the Assyms and rate 'em.

I will prob get the Sess's next aswell.

Funnily enough the Assyms and Sess's came 1st and 2nd respectively, in evo mag's TTotY 2007 (or it might have been 2008 lol).

Chris send NeilP1 a pm on SI, ive used Vredestein,Falkens and currently on Toyo T1R,s and they are fine. The Falkens prob the worst out of those but still a good tyre if that makes sense.

I have Assyms 225 40 18 and am not happy with them at all. Have tried all tyre pressures hard and soft but still cant get them to grip well. Last set was some Toyo's
T1S and although they got a bit much lateral flex under braking you can fix that with a bit higher pressure. I am also in the market for some new rubber but am doing my lid thinking i might spend a load of wonga and drive away with a set of tyres i dont like.

Vreddy's are VERY good, but might give the Toyo R1R's a try next
