need advice about next upgrades
Hi-
looking for a bit of help with tuning and mods....
i've got a bugeye wrx wagon- with a Prodrive kit and piper cross induction kit- everything else is standard.....
i'm looking to get more torque and low end response- but don't want to go too extreme (turbo mods etc) I was thinking about a decat exhaust to join up with my prodrive backbox- is that going to make the engine more responsive from low revs etc..... ?
Also i get a fair amount of lag between gear changes etc- will a dump valve really make a difference to this?
What is a logical upgrade route from here which won't break the bank
and effect reliability (i use the wrx for work).....
thanks,
Paul

Decat might give you a bit on the spool up
but for torque its a bit harder to do on a budget
for me on my classic best thing i done was decat decent panel filter and then a remap cost about 750 all told not cheap but a big difference
check out andy forrests website as he lists mods with a rough figures after mapping
