Default wheres this plug go?, help please

Bit of a stupid question , but in the process of changing my dash over and i can't find a place for this plug to plug into , its to do with the lights, radio , as that's whats not working , any one know where this plugs into thanks?

looks like one of the stereo plugs to me

Yes it looks very much like the original ISO-style stereo loom connector plug. You can get the ISO-DIN adaptor looms for peanuts off eBay vendors, if you intend to fit a modern stereo with the universal DIN connectors.

thank for replies but its not the stereo plug , its looks just the same but a bigger version of the stereo plug , I'm sure i remember removing it from around the fuse box , but have looked everywhere ans still can't find where it goes , cheers

In that case it could be a plug for aftermarket OEM gauges. I have the Lamco triple gauge set in my MY93 and I replaced them the other month for the same, but white-faced, set, and from memory their loom plugs into a connector like that i.e. similar to the stereo one, as you say...

the lights and indicators aren't working either? so i guess its to do with this plug , or unless Ive missed another lol , cheers

There's prob dedicated fuse/s for those circuits - blown?

i would say it goes on the back of the clocks, had mine out today and look the same

Thats not for the back of the clocks, there are three sets of wires that go into the back of the clocks, two are white with big pins on them (slide into the printed circuit) and a blue one...

I would say that looks like a wire that links the dash wires into the cars plug... check above the fuse box, there should be 4 blocks under there, it should plug into one of them, and your indicators and everything should then work

That's where I remember unpluging it from above the fuse box? But I can,t seem to find the place it plugs into , if you get time and could trace where it plugs into that would be much apreciated, cheers

I have found where it goes now : ) , was just hidden behind the plastic trim at the bottom, thanks for the help everyone

Lol just got back from working on the car but forgot the camera, but was about to say it might be hiding behind the trim (as its a loose wire, not connected to the main junction box)
