Default RCM K&N and trumpet joining pipe

I'm going to buy the large K&N cone from RCM (Roger Clark Motorsport - RCM Product Detail) plus trumpet( don't know which size one yet).
I'm running a Simtek, so no need for MAF tube, what size silicon hose do I need and where can I get it from to join the trumpet to the induction hard pipe that goes to the turbo , under the inlet manifold.

Thanks

I think the trumpet's "turbo" end is 76mm (3") and your induction hose is either 76mm or 80mm (can't remember).

So you need a simple 76mm straight coupler... or possibly a 76mm to 80mm reducer.

Get measuring lol....

TBH, a 80mm straight coupler would cover both scenarios, regardless...

Joz on RCM the trumpet sizes are 100m or 80mm, which do I go for?
would it make any difference as its going to be reduced anyway?

Also, what about the pipe that goes from the carbon canister to the inlet pipe? Can I do away with that?

Oh yes, 100m and 80mm options - I remember now, sorry.

I'm sure the 80mm version would suffice for most bhp levels (as you say it reduces to around 80mm for the intake pipe anyway). Just make sure you measure the outside diameter of the intake pipe for sure, to make sure you get the right sized coupler...

RCM will be able to sell you the Samco hose to join them together like this.

Make sure you buy the smaller of the 2 filters though as the tall one wont fit.
As for the carbon canister, the SimTek doesn't use it anyway, so ditch it and all of the pipes and solenoids it uses.
