yeh i know were your coming from but a turbo wouldn't be any good for the miles i do. it will just cost to much in go juice. im not after any major performace upgrades under the bonnet, just prob and cat n back and and induction kit. i dont like "standard". if i could get it looking like a turbo with the bonnet and that and maybe some bits under the bonnet. suspension needs sortin, maybe lowered a bit or just some better struts.
is the best place ebay??

Hi ive had four impreza's two non turbos and im on my second turbo and the fuel economy to run a turbo is about 2mpg more!! so my advice would be dont bother tuning the non turbo, trust me you wont find any performance gains. you can make it look like a turbo but a chav in a corsa will be quicker!!! sorry dude

lol cheers waz...
i know what you mean by the performace, ive had my fair share of fast cars, me last one being an integra type R. i got rid of it because i averaged low 20's mpg. ive read that turbos average 20mpg average, hence y ive got a non turbo. i just like impreza's and have always said ill have one, one day. insurance is always a killer to.

Hi grahamk23 i have a new age impreza turbo standard at the moment but going through modding stage but at the moment averaging approx 30mpg but been advised when modded and remapped expect to see gains in the mpg to approx 35. That of course is driving normal on our over crowded speed restrictive roads.
