Default Passenger Windows don't work.

I broke my passenger side front window switch a while back and the rear switch has been missing for a while as well.

Replaced all my door cards today with new ones that have working switches all round but both passenger side windows will not go up or down via their individual switches or by the switch on the drivers door.

Now, when you press the switches you can hear the motor trying to do something and approx every 10 seconds you can hear a clicking noise from around the drivers seat area. Sounds like a relay click.

Can anyone advise what might be causing passenger side windows to not work.

Many thanks.

Found a couple of fuse layouts but cannot see a fuse relating to the electric windows.

Strange how both passenger windows will not work.

OK, this may be a silly question, but on mine there is a button which LOCKS all the other windows. You haven't got that depressed, have you? Or the wires crossed somehow?

No the lock button is off and you can only fit the plugs one way into the switches.

Are the switchs from the same year car as yours? as they changed the wiring from early classic to late classic also take off the switchs and make sure that none of the pins have bent over

The door cards and switches are from a V2 STI, mine is a MY97 T2000.

Didn't realise the wiring was different, even though the switches are still from a pre-facelift classic. Will get some new switches and see what happens.

Thanks
