Default re-mapping

any advise on re-mapping 2006 sti uk car with prodrive upgrade
ECUTEK seems the way to go will i notice any performance MPG more importantly! Does it require full exhaust etc

Up to you really........I kept the Prodrive exhaust system on mine and just got a JGM remap. Achieved 340 bhp, 332 lb ft on blob STi PPP. Noticable difference though not in fuel consumption tbh.

You will see a small increase in MPG even though performance gains are being made, mainly due to the top end OE maps running richer than the Remaped.

you don't have to change the exhaust no but you will get more power and torque with a decat or sportscat exhaust.

mpg is improved, along with throttle response and torque and power across the whole rev range not just peak figures etc..
