Default apexi boost reading

on my power fc hand controller, just stopped reading boost, it sits between 3-8mmhg, not matter throttle position, wheras my avcr readoit gives the accurate boost reading

why would this be,

alos totlally seperate i think,

ive got pillar boost and oil pressure gauges - the lghting went out today as did my rear side lights?

anyone?

so this would seem ny ecu isnt reading boost and therefore will not be fuelling boost?, where as the avcr reads direct from map sensor, which isnt linked to ecu? right?

think ill not be driving it until this is sorted

the avcr has its own map sensor, and i think the fc uses the cars standard map sensor for readings (on my car anyway)

maybe it has come unpluged, hose poped off etc

(on classic) it will be on the drivers side infront of the strut tower. looks like this

the avcr does averything to control the boost, and the ecu will be mapped for it. i think it just is plugged in for the display when using the avce (but could be wrong)

my Apexi stopped reading boost just like the OP says. Right enough one of the hoses off the 2port boost solenoid had popped off. plugged it back on, fine. In my car the boost is handeled by a manual boost controller, so my boost controll solenoid is redundant appart from being connected to the Apexi ECU for boost readings as DaOne has already said.
