aircon install please help!!!!!!!

Default aircon install please help!!!!!!!

right before i start i want to say any help is greatly appreciated

right i have a my 99 uk classic without aircon and a friend of mine has a 98 type r with aircon which he is removing ......

now what i need to know is will it all fit to my car from the type r and if it does is it a hard job to do and also exactly what parts do i need to take and what parts do i need to swap over?

right just been doing some research and found out i need either 4 or 5 relays also does anybody know exactly which ones are required?

do u have an aircon button. dont understand why u dont have aircon as i have same model and have aircon

It was an optional extra on the uk model and the guy who brought it new probably didn't deem it necessery :-)

It's probley not worth the hassle mate, you'll need compressor, all the relevent pipes, belt , condensor, evaperator easier to swap heater boxes!, drier, replacement seals ( good practice), someone to charge it up! May have forgotten something it would be easier to sell your car and buy on with A/C!!

Get a wiring diagram for the relays and you'll want loom and button, you may also want to check what gas is in the system if it's an import?

id strip the type r, and then reverse fit, ul know where everything goes when u remove it. ul know where the looms connect etc, the pipe work and condenser is the easy bit.

Is there a hole in the bulk head for the evaperator pipes?

Both years mentioned use the same oil and gas R134A 550 to 650 grams,
Earlier cars use more gas, left hookers use different oil.
