the TD05 16g is good, your downfall will be the smaller injectors, non mappable ecu, crap brakes etc that you need to upgrade really to do the 280+bhp, so it wont exactly be cheap.....

If you wanted the TD05, you'd have to cut of the top entry snorkel or fit a FE comp cover or buy a AF 16g, etc.
VF28 is a straight fit, but if considering that, best bet is a VF35 - makes a bit more bhp than the 28 and is stronger (the VF30-series turbos are that much younger than the VF20s). Don't worry, the 35 is still a lively turbo too.
Get 550cc injectors - good for c.350-410bhp so a bit of 'future proofing'... as well as being okay for either of those mentioned turbos' 320+ capability.

Well as long as you have a new mappable ecu and decent brakes (NOT the crappy 2 pot ones that are on there now but something that will slow the car down ) and maybe a panel filter and a 3 inch exhaust to go with it (and the turbo + some 440 or 550 cc injectors)
