It might just scrape through if the centre cat is in absolutely tip top nick and is got very hot immediately before the test, but its far more likely to fail.

You've answered your own question. Swap the OE downpipe on or get a sports cat.

Speak to local Scooby owners to see if there is a nice garage around you

I belive the lower limit for a pass with regards to exhaust emission is 0.25 l/m
My car has no cats at all and produced 2.5 l/m !!
As this data, (I am led to believe) is not recorded and sent to VOSA a Subaru friendly garage may turn a blind eye to a slightly higher reading than normal.

I lost the centre cat on mine and left the other two. Quick re-map and it waltzs through the MOT no issue.

5t.

i always go to one very good garage.2 old boys.they use common sense when looking at my cars or bike however they do like to see a car pass the emmisions.i had to sit behind my legacy before with a rag stuffed next to the probe to get a good reading as the exhaust was quite large!they wouldnt stop until the machine passed it.my hands were burning like buggery!! lol.
