Hi Guys

Can anyone help me here?
Is the following manifold suitable for my MY 96 Phase 1 UK turbo?

It is fitted with a TD05 turbo (which i have also bought a turbo blanket for)

I am about to change my exhaust to a full 3" decat system and i have been told that fitting the RA type manifold will also increase power?

The manifold im looking at is, i'm told, from a V2 Sti Type RA

The manifold is a direct fit, because it's the same as the UK turbo one - You won't see any power increase

Hmm, kinda defeats that then lol!

Is it worth me getting these ported then?

How's the job hunt going BTW, or are you setting up on your own????

Porting is a worthwile excercise for a mildly tuned motor - It may gain you a couple of horsepower when remapped and will slightly improve throttle response.

It's also worth removing all the heatshields and grinding all the mounting lugs off the castings, then wrapping with heatwrap.
